But you cant aim for those kind of character each generation. but nothing crazy.ДЄnd sometime you have the exceptionnal ruler, extremly strong since the young age,that will lead your country trough glory, like a mighty general able to win impossible wars, a prophet who will unit your country behind the same religion, a incredible intendant who will gather an immense treasure, etc.

Most of the time, you have a decent ruler, whith who you will be able to achieve nice goals, reinforce the legacy, protect the borders or push them a bit etc. I would say it's more rare to have very good characters exept if you advance a lot in the blood legacy path. The characters with bad learning ability are frustrating, but even with those guys you can do something.Also, some personality traits are bad, but i noticed that most of the time you have no choice to take one. Most of the time they had traits that was conflicted with their ability, for instance a compassionate, fair, master of conspiracy that basicly turn crazy everytime he start or achieve an evil plot. Finding a wife/husband with good stats and able to stay at home (not a ruler) is also a good way to have good stats. Every character can be very useful at old age. It grows up with the time with events, experience, perks, etc. My 4000+ hours in CKII was hardcore roleplayingДЄll character start with bad stats.
